Truth -- A Shared Post

We wanted to share the following post that appears on a neighboring district's blog.  We think it is quite relevant to our district.  We are pretty sure you will all know who this applies to......

Benaitis and Schneider

Schneider, Schneider, Schneider. Can you please create a bubble chart to emphasize this point?

White - since he was gullible enough to believe Schneider's spin.

No, not White. He still has a chance to redeem himself.

Schneider and Benaitis from the Central Office.
Turek from the BOE.

At this point, we need to demand that certain data points are analzed and within a specific time frame. Yes, we've been asking for YEARS! Our leader in this field, Ms. Benaitis is earning $125,000 and Schneider $140,000 yet none of this data has been presented. It's Dr. White's responsibility to demand this also-if not, then his chances of redeeming himself are very little. I thought they are suppose to be working for us-aren't WE paying their salaries? Reminder -its called "employment-a job, sometimes you need to do things you don't want to-Perhaps all the data provides evidence that your "theories" don't hold up in this district. Sorry.

Many states, students are boycotting PAARC assessments.

ISAT's ended, who's to say how long this PAARC test will be around.

Totally agree. Each of our administrators should be held accountable or be shown the door. At a base salary if $235,000 White must show some leadership and produce data instead if just talk about it. He has already damaged his credibility by promoting Schneider. Not sure White can recover after such a glaring error in judgement.

Speaking of Dr. Schneider, if you want a really good belly laugh watch this episode of Clarence on Cartoon Network - Crayons vs. Quills:

http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/clarence/video/average-jeff-episode.html

My daughter is an inclusive classroom but kept saying "I am in the most advance class" while watching this show. Don't think our kids are fooled just because you put them all in one class in a workshop model. You need three flexible tiers to help a kid like Jeff. You also need proper identification tools.

Omg - the part with the class action lawsuit! Priceless

White if he is going to pretend that the whole administrative team is new and Schneider never had anything to do with leading the ALP task force. We are inundated with social justice ideas and experts. If they don't like parents being involved and vocal they need to go work in a different district. Salaries are lower but maybe no one will question what they are doing. $140,000 seems to be Schneider's last year's salary. What a waste of tax payer money.

9:37 PM, I find your comment to be typical self-absorbed, Hinsdalean bubble-driven drivel.

News alert: Your are not shiny and special. Parents in other school districts care just as much about their respective child's education and are just as active, if not more so, than d181 parents. If fact, one might make the case that if more d181 parents actually stepped away from their fabulous, self-absorbed lifestyles and actually focused on their children's education, we might not be in this current mess.

To the last poster -

We aren't special and shiny -we are just tired. Tired of commonsense and data being ignored. The best interests of our kids aren't being addressed. For the most part, people in this district are trusting, especially when everyone in the school system seems so friendly etc-but it only takes a few people to hijack the system for their own purposes. That is how we feel now-what else could it be? The bubbles are just further clear, cut, easy to see images of what has been occurring in this district. Many D181 parent HAVE been involved-but we are IGNORED! This happens when the BOE agenda -set by the president and Superindentent, doesn't fully address parents concerns. It happens when our Learning Dept doesn't analyze data from all the testing that our kids participate in-and that we pay for! It occurs when it it clear as day that several people are advocating inclusive classrooms and constructivism-yet our district doesn't seem to want this.
